Sometimes life closes doors because it’s time for us to move forward.
And at time it is truly hard to move on when everything seems negative; but remember it all goes to how we are able to deal with the problems and turn every negative vibes into an opportunity!
1) List down the names of your loved ones and call them!
At times, when things go all wrong (the way I think it is at least), I will choose to relax and immediately call either my mom or my husband - or sometimes both of them and just to speak to them on how I actually feel at that point of time.
Additionally, I will also choose to pray and ask God to give me strength to go through the hard times.
You will be surprised how it can switch the entire situation to a better perspective and you will be firm enough to say "öut you go negativity".
Adopting the right attitude, can definitely convert a negative "stress" into a positive one.
2) Write down the goals you want to achieve in 5 years.
Ever wonder why when you are surrounded by negativity, you are asked to stay focus in your goals and big why?
It is because your goals determine your reality and when you shift your focus to something that is very meaningful to you, you tend to forget all other things that can make you feel weak or demotivated.
Always keep a copy of your goals in the notes section in your phone or somewhere you can view it immediately if you are going through a long and negative day.
Stop getting distracted by the things that have nothing to do with your goals!
3) Think about what are you being grateful for in your life right now!
When negative vibes hit you, you are prone to think about all the things that can go wrong.
This is law of attraction.
Instead, try to think of all the good things that you have in your life right now.
You are alive and still breathing! You are given the opportunity to live your life and work towards your big why! So stop thinking that it's the end of the world.
The single greatest thing you can do to change your life today is by being grateful for what you have right now. And the more grateful you are, the more great things will come to you!
4) List down your achievements!
This is my most favorite one!
Picture yourself going for an interview for the job you've dream of. How would you sell yourself again to a stranger and impress them that you are the one they're looking for to fill up that particular position you've applied?
Why are we placing so much of effort in impressing another party but we fail to do so to ourselves?
Do you know if you sit down quietly now at one place (your zen zone) at you focus on all the things you're proud of, you will be surprised how many things you've achieved in your life?
Be proud of all the smallest achievements in your life, think about all the struggles you went through to get to the place you've wanted.
Stop criticizing yourself for your failures or all the things that did not work - start appreciating yourself for your achievements!
5) Explore new hobbies/ interests/ watch YouTube on how successful people run their life!
Guys, when things turn into negative - you got to shift and focus your mind into something else that can run your adrenaline - to a positive vibe.
Try new things or hobbies and this will make you forget about the negative stuffs.
What consume your mind, controls your life - thus, find something new to explore.
Start hanging out with people that can make you be successful and motivate you to be like one of them.
Once your mindset changes, everything on the outside will change along with it.
I use to be surrendering my life to all the negative things that happened to me once.
I refuse to go out of my own zone (this was the year I lost my dad). But it didn't change anything.
Nothing at all. It only make me feel more useless and being in a regretful moment.
I came out of the circle I was feeling comfortable, and start speaking to other people who has gone through worse situation than me. I started mingling around with successful people and learn from them on how they run their life.
If you think successful people never failed or went through hard times - you're wrong.
You should go and speak to them and seek knowledge on how they overcome the situation.
I am grateful for all the people I've met and I learnt a lot from my mentors on how they manage to see positive when they were facing multiple challenges in their life.
That has made me stronger day by day and I am very proud for who I've become.
You too can do the same!
Don't let negative and toxic people rent a space in your head.
Raise the rent and kick them out!
