Positive people inspire us to be positive like them too. Why not follow their habits to be like them? The world is full with negative mindset humans that is not worth the time at all. What if we could change our life by shifting our mindset and habit and copy the positive mindset people?
I am pretty sure you have encountered people in your life that tells you "look at the bright side", "think positively" or "view the cup as if it is half full". These are the habit of positive people and they have lived their life developing and magnifying their belief to be more positive every day.
Let's take a look at the top notch habits of positive people that we can incorporate into our daily routine.
1) Express Gratitude
Do you know how it feels like to feel thankful and to show gratitude to even the smallest and simplest thing in our life daily?
You don't necessarily need to walk up to a particular person and say you are thankful to what they did to you. Well, yes in come cases you may do so. For instance, you know that person A have actually helped you out in your business schedule or has helped to pass a message from you to another person or has helped to clean up your desk when you were not around; show up to him and say thank you and tell him that you appreciate his help in doing it for you. Don't just keep quiet or pretend that you acknowledge by nodding your head.
It is so simple; you will finally realise that you feel good after doing this and you have shown appreciation to the other party for helping you out and this eventually will make them build some sort of respect to you. It might seem like it is nothing, or maybe you feel like if you are not saying thank you - it is not going to affect anything. You never know if you are making a change in someone's life. Your gratitude might be very small for you, but it is a big appreciation for some people out there. There are so many ways you can express your gratitude; it can be writing up a post, sending postcard, an email, prepare your friends a meal or take your family out to a park or dinner.
Another thing about expressing gratitude is the first thing you can do in the morning and say it to yourself or write it down in your journal. You can prepare a Gratitude Journal and place it next to your bed. This way, you can either write your gratitude before hitting the bed or the first thing in the morning. Don't just write things down for the sake of writing. Make sure you are really feeling thankful; look around you and there are so many things to be thankful. You woke up feeling healthy; You are breathing smoothly; You are privileged to mix coffee or tea along with an awesome breakfast; You have an amazing family and friends; You have a strong support system; You have an absolutely fabulous job that pays your salary every month; You have limitless fear; and the list can go on. You need to really feel the good things around you and what are the points that keep you alive, keep you motivated to move forward in your life. Those are the things that will train your mind to see the good things throughout the day (if you are practising gratitude in the morning) because you are absorbing positive vibes inside of you.
Can you imagine if you were to read newspaper in the morning and all you see is "A killed B for going out with C" or "Poisoned food detected nearby"? You will be training your mind with more problem in the morning and I don't have to tell you how you will be thinking and rolling the rest of your day. Have Gratitude Guys :)
2) Work Backwards - Reverse Method
What it means by working backwards is successful people are aware and 100% sure about what they want to achieve in a specific time frame. They have set the accurate and precise endgame and timeframe and they know what they exactly need to do to get what they want.
In order to make this happen, you need to state your ultimate or desired goal along with the attainable timeframe. For instance let's just say you want to publish a book by end of 2019. You than need to draft out the proposed title as well as amount of pages and chapters you want to include to publish it.
Now you need to start to work backwards. So from the end date - which is December 2019, if you are to start your write-ups in May 2018, you will have to start drafting out on a monthly basis from December 2019, November and followed by the rest of the month, what needs to be done. For instance November 2019 can be the books stock-up orders before you launch the book in December 2019; whereas in October 2019 can be your last viewing or editing of the cover page,etc.
All these steps need a proper planning and organizing in order for the final piece to be launched without any problem. This can applied in any situation; it can also be done for a short term business goals. If you know you supposed to complete a project or a workbook or a training course and material in 3 months time, you need to precisely plan backwards in order for you to view the exact timeframe you need to complete a project.
Successful people have it all layered out - they will work towards the end game and they will never compromise their hustle on a daily basis to achieve the ultimate goal. Always remember this point!
3) Continue Reading Books.
Successful people never stop learning and they always make it a habit to continuously purchase books to enhance their knowledge; be it business insights or general knowledges.

In today's technology there are so many ways you can utilize to read books; if you are a person that is always on-the-go with multiple appointments, you definitely can utilize podcasts or read audio books - you can also subscribe to Google reads or any other audio book that is available in your app store. You can purchase a good learn book and carry it in your bag or place it in your car; as you never know when you will have any free time and you do not want to waste your time doing nothing. You can certainly read before you hit the bed; I personally do my readings online before hitting the bed as it is something that will linger in your mind before you sleep and top notch knowledge is just the best to attract good vibes in the morning when you wake up :)
4) Create a Productive Morning Routine.
Firstly, waking up early, as in earlier than usual is a must-to habit that every individual need to cultivate. Additionally, if you want to copy paste successful people you really have to master the act of waking up early and having a productive morning routine.
Successful people have a planned and organised morning routine that they do regularly to start the day right. The morning routine supposed to start with things that you can do to absorb good vibes and to make you feel more energized throughout the day.
Why it is important to rise early? Successful people spend most of their time to arrange their days and they will never compromise to have any wasted time. Just imagine if you are to wake up early and prepare your morning routine just right, imagine how many things you will be able to complete in order for you achieve your target and goals.
There is a set of things one can do to incorporate in their morning routine. That is going to be a totally huge topic; however I will summarize it here to give you a little bit of the insights - since morning routine is my most favourite part of anything in the world.
1) Start your day by placing your phone in either in the next bedroom or somewhere far from your bedside; to avoid you from hitting the snooze button.
2) Wake up feeling grateful and start by drinking a large glass of water; spicing it up with lemon or apple cider vinegar is a great way to smoothen your digestion system in the morning. My favourite will be to add up some chia seed in it as well.
3) Hit to the gym after you mix your light breakfast to avoid your stomach rumbling while you're on the treadmill.
4) Listen to motivational videos or podcasts everyday.
5) Make your bed and take healthy smoothies; after your coffee or tea (I am both coffee and tea person; thus I will definitely make sure I take some smoothies).
6) Write your goals daily. (This is a must! A great tips to have your mind remember your goals 24 hours).
7) Create a short to do list or organized your planner.
8) Do the most heaviest task/project before jumping to the least priority task.
9) Try not to reply to emails/instagram or facebook or any other social media replies first 2 hours after you wake up.
10) Meditate and read!
The above are some of the best and top notch successful morning routine to awaken your soul to the best of you every day. Besides, it will keep you stay focus in what you need to do to achieve your goals daily.
5) Positive Attitude.
If you realize and try to recall all the time that we use to either send out quotes via social media or include some of the quotes in one of our powerpoints slide during our presentation; it is all about spreading the love of being positive. And most of the quotes are created from successful people. If I were to list down here which quotes originated from which entrepreneur, I will need to publish a book myself to complete it :)
The language that successful people speak are mostly about affirmations and how to share best practice to be the best among the rest. They rather speak about cultivating positive attitude rather than gossiping about negativity. When you speak good and share positive thoughts, you are boosting confidence in yourself, it makes you be more productive, you attract "happy" vibes around you and inspire people to be like you.
It is very easy to stay positive when you are surrounded with a lot of negative vibes; you need to speak and think positively, use affirmations and feel it to experience positivity. Always surround yourself with the right people, learn and be so close to those who move you forward by speaking about good things. Learn from positive minded people how they improve their mindset daily. Ask them how they practice absorbing positivity when people around them injects them with negativity. Keep learning and seeking knowledge to make yourself a better person and in no time you will be speaking the same language as the positive minded successful people.
Winston Churchill says " The positive thinker sees the invisible, feels the intangible, and achieves the impossible."
6) Concentrate on Networking.
Successful people take every opportunity to expand their network, make new friends, new business partners, exchange ideas and knowledges to build better and huge market. This is why they manage to overcome difficulties as they have strong support system. Through talking to people, you will not realise what kind of opportunities are presented to you.
Most successful people know the benefit to be surrounded with successful team and network. They know how to value the importance of exchanging ideas through networking. Nowadays people out there are using "networking" method to expand their business but are not doing the initial essential work to build a strong and reliable relationship.
You need to start by talking to people and show your interest in what they do, ask more on their field and working environment and how you can learn something beneficial perhaps in the way how they lead their team, how they project their business revenue, what are the secret methods they practice to attract great investors, what are the strongest quality of marketing tips that you can learn from them, etc. Learn from their success and build your trust with them in order for them to share more knowledge and ideas with you. Do it regularly. Comment and ask what and how others are doing in their respective field. This is how you build great relationship and it will lead towards you expanding your network or initiate a collaboration with the other party.
Networking is a very strong tool that gives you access to wealth of knowledge and experience. You will have connection to people from various backgrounds and gives you a valuable asset to grow your business. Successful people often turn to their strong support system in their network for guidance, ideas or even to share any best practice.
